Privacy Policy
Effective October 6, 2026
ItalDimora (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates italdimora.com. ItalDimora is a project of the family behind L4travel, a travel agency based in Pennsylvania, USA. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to plan and support your journey:
- Information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, the journey you are interested in and any message you send through our forms, by email or by phone.
- Booking information, when you reserve a journey: traveler names, contact details, dates of birth and passport details where required by suppliers, dietary or mobility needs you choose to share, and emergency contacts.
- Payment information, when you pay a deposit or balance. Online payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our website.
- Technical information, such as your browser type, device and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies that help the website work and help us understand how it is used.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and send you the information you request, including our Postcards from Italy emails.
- To plan, book and deliver your journey with our accommodation, transport and experience partners.
- To process payments and keep accurate business records.
- To improve our website and our journeys.
- To comply with legal obligations.
If you sign up for our Postcards from Italy, we will email you stories, news and journey updates about every two weeks, sent through our email provider, MailerLite. You can unsubscribe at any time.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to deliver your journey or run our business, with:
- Accommodation hosts, local guides, transport and experience providers in Italy who deliver the services you book.
- Partners you choose to use, such as Allianz Global Assistance for travel protection, or the drivers and car rental companies that provide your transportation.
- Service providers who help us operate, such as website hosting, email and payment processing.
- Authorities, when required by law.
Because our journeys take place in Italy, your information may be transferred to and processed in the European Union. We take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, and afterwards as required for legal, accounting and tax purposes.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. To make a request, please contact us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Information about minors traveling with a parent or guardian is collected only from that parent or guardian, for booking purposes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.
