Tuscany: harvest in San Gimignano
Your first week begins on a family wine estate just below San Gimignano, the medieval town of towers, right as the grapes come in. The old stone path into town starts at your door.

An 18th-century farmhouse on a working wine estate
A stone farmhouse from the 1700s, restored with care and surrounded by the estate’s own vineyards and olive groves. San Gimignano is less than two kilometers away, about thirty minutes on foot along the old path into town. The family has run the restaurant on the estate for more than forty years, and their own wines are poured at the table.
Your roomRooms in the old stone house, with exposed wooden beams, a private bathroom, air conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi, minibar and safe.
- Breakfast every morning at the estate’s restaurant
- Saltwater pool and garden among the vines

Benvenuti in Toscana
A group transfer meets you at Florence airport (FLR) and brings you to the estate, where your local concierge welcomes you. Settle in, walk the vines at sunset, then sit down together for a welcome dinner with your concierge.
San Gimignano, slowly, and lunch in the vines
A gentle first morning. A local guide walks you into San Gimignano along the old path, through its towers, piazzas and hidden corners before the day-trippers arrive. Then a long lunch at a family vineyard, with a tasting of Vernaccia, the town’s white wine, and of local honey, served with the cheeses and cured meats of these hills.
Siena, or nothing at all
A morning in the harvest
Join the people of the estate in the vineyard for a morning of picking, at the gentle pace of a guest, not a laborer. Then follow the grapes into the cellar, see how the wine begins, and taste the sweet new must.
