Slow-Living Journeys Across Italy
Italy, Unrushed.
Discover the Italy we love: journeys for travelers who want to see the life, the table, and the places where unhurried days feel like home.
Dolce Far Niente
The Art of Doing Beautifully Nothing
Aperitivo in hand, time slows down. Here, doing nothing is the whole point.
Slow Living
Live Slow. Belong Completely.
Wander the local market, share a coffee with neighbors, and become part of the rhythm of Campania life.
Two weeks. One family.
The Italy we call home.
Dimora means “dwelling”: a place where you live, not just visit. Our journeys are for travelers who are tired of checklists and crowds, and who want to feel the rhythm of real Italian life for two unhurried weeks.

Not a tour.
A way of living Italy.
Two weeks, not two days
Fourteen nights in two regions. You unpack, settle in, and learn the name of the person who makes your cappuccino.
Small groups, never a bus
Only 10 to 12 guests. Close enough to feel like family, free enough to feel like your own holiday.
A dream dimora
Wine estates, historic residences, boutique hotels and family-run villas, each chosen because the moment you walk in, you say “wow.”
Designed by our family
Gianni, Fanny and our son Jonathan design every journey and choose every place you stay, in person. On the ground, trusted local hosts welcome you like family.
Leave speaking Italian
Weekly Italian lessons, so you go home with far more than menu Italian.
Freedom built in
Lively shared dinners and slow, open evenings. Join in, or wander off with a gelato. Both are the point.
A typical group tour
- A different hotel every night or two
- Large groups and a coach to match
- Every hour scheduled for you
- Chain hotels and buffet breakfasts
- A guide reciting a script
An ItalDimora journey
- Two homes in fourteen nights
- 10 to 12 guests, never a crowd
- Hosted dinners and free evenings
- Wine estates and historic residences
- Hosts who live there and know everyone

Every residence is an experience in itself.
We never pick a place from a catalogue. Each one is a place we know personally, with people we know behind it.
- Working wine estates where you wake among the vines
- Historic residences with a hundred years of stories
- Family-run villas where the owners welcome you as their guests
- Fourteen nights, so the house becomes part of your story

Lunches that quietly become three-hour afternoons.
Food is how Italy says welcome. You’ll share it the way families do: slowly, with good wine and better stories.
- Breakfast every morning
- 3 hosted dinners and 2 long regional lunches
- Local tastings that change from place to place
- Tips for the best local tables on your free evenings

We are not tour guides who learned Italy from a book.
We met in London, married in Alberobello and raised our children in Naples. Fanny began her career as the youngest diplomat ever appointed by the Dominican Republic, serving as Director for Touristic Affairs in Milan. Gianni was born among the olive groves and trulli of the Valle d’Itria. Travel has been part of our lives for more than 40 years.
ItalDimora is the Italy we know best. We design every journey and choose every home in person, and trusted local hosts who live there welcome you on the ground. Not a checklist. A home.
